1) Pidgin is just an application that connects to existing services, and provides none itself. There's no privacy concerns there.     a) You can find the source here if you want to verify: https://bitbucket.org/pidgin/main/src/default/ 2) Most of the services you listed no longer exist/function (AIM/MSN/Yahoo have all been shut down), but many are supported. The main page lists the supported protocols, and you can find third party protocols here: https://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/ThirdPartyPlugins
3) Pidgin should work with 32-bit windows.
