Hi, I'm not sure how to contact the actual dev of the plugin but since day 1, I've had issues trying to connect pidgin to the new gchat. Sometimes when I bring my computer back from sleep mode, pidgin refuses to connect, or reconnects after hours of no connection all at once. Usually the only consistent way to reconnect to gchat is to restart my entire laptop, and even then that hasn't worked the last few days. Any ideas how to go about troubleshooting?
