Hello TBUDL,

Is there a "Reply" template that I could use that would limit the
length of quotes in my messages?

The problem is unless you remember to "Alt+L" all quotes in TB!'s
editor you possibly lose some of TB! quote characters/initials (i.e.
such as "GS> " for me) when the message is signed by GPG. This occurs
because IIRC TB! does not re-wrap quotes, and therefore quotes
maintain their original length in your messages. This maybe a problem
when you use different editors with GPG because it necessitates
setting the wrap length in GPGshell for GPG to provide good signatures
for all editors used.

If you only GPG sign TB! editor messages, the solution is simple. Just
turn off wrapping in GPGshell. You just rely on TB! great editor and
you never have a problem with bad signatures. However if you use other
editor's such as the one used in Agent, then you have to remember to
turn on wrapping within GPGshell. If you use different keys for
different purposes and the wrap setting was available in the options
files for GPGshell, then this would be a good solution. After
reviewing the GPG.MAN file I don't believe there is a command
available although I may have missed it.

The solution if possible would be a "Reply" template that re-wraps in
accordance with TB!'s editor wrap preference. With this solution you
wouldn't have to remember to "Alt+L" all quotes. I don't know about
you, but I use "Alt+L" a lot because I often go back and change the
content of my messages to convey my thoughts. So when one is trying
to scrip the content of their thought in their reply, it is not hard
to forget to "Alt+L" the quotes.

Unless I'm missing something here I think a "Reply" template that
re-wraps to TB!'s editor wrap preference would be a good solution.
Any ideals? TIA!
