Iowa  Education Technology Leads,
I hope you have received your invitation and are making plans to attend to the Microsoft Connected Learning Community Technology Summit, February 11-13, in Seattle, Washington.   This is our top annual event for assisting K-12 schools in developing their technology plans.  If I could point to one single conference that impacts the development of technology in a K-12 school, it would be the CLC Summit.

The Connected Learning Community Technology Summit is a unique opportunity to come as a district leadership team to gain the insights and solutions you need to create a Connected Learning Community in your district.  Each day will start with exciting keynote presentations from education and technology leaders including Steve Ballmer, CEO, Microsoft Corporation.   In breakout sessions and intensive hands-on labs you'll learn how to implement technology solutions to create a dynamic, powerful and collaborative learning environment.  You'll also have the opportunity to learn from your peers as educators and IT pros share their best practices for building Connected Learning Communities.

Here are just a few comments from attendees at the 2001 Summit:

This was the best conference that I have attended. I came away with the ability to help my teachers in the classroom and to make good decisions that will affect my students.  Thank you for the opportunity!

Roger Lowry, Superintendent, Northern Valley USD #212

A valuable conference.  As a former Mac user, now using Windows, I continue to learn new applications and server information.  Thank you for a great educational experience.
