Description |
Scope of work: Duties:
• Maintain and adhere to the RCL Security Standards
• Review data source events to determine key events for input to content development.
• Develop ArcSight Content for data sources to alert on key events
• Develop multi data source cross correlation content.
• Develop reports, data monitor and dashboards.
• Develop content to monitor infrastructure state.
• Perform QA (Quality Assurance) function on content developed by other parties to ensure compliance with RCL Log and Auditing Standard.
• Develop new custom connectors (i.e. flexconnectors) to integrate site specific data
• Test and integrate ArcSight provided connectors
• Integrate ArcSight event actions into other RCL systems
• Provide ArcSight technical expertise
• Provide support to the RCL ArcSight Clients
• Design and develop innovative methods of automatic event processing to satisfy compliance and operational requirements.
• Produce documentation on designs and content developed including knowledge based articles linked to events.
• Liaise with various IT Technology groups and ArcSight Support
• Provide backup system support for the ArcSight Infrastructure Components
• Monitoring — including native consoles, security information and event management (SIEM), correlation tools and other analysis tools that watch for threats, vulnerabilities or environmental changes that affect risk
• Implementing configuration changes in conformance with change management and control
• Monitoring vulnerability management processes and technologies, and assessing the enterprise's vulnerability state
• Monitoring the environment for threats and vulnerabilities
• Keeping current on changes to the threat and vulnerability landscape
• Complying with security SLAs
Minor Duties:
• Deploying patches for security products
• Providing input on the deployment of patches for nonsecurity products and making recommendations as to when out-of-cycle patches are required
• Providing input on enterprise security policies, and developing security operations procedures
Required skills/competencies: Minimum University/College degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science or Engineering preferred)
• Minimum 10 years of Information Security experience
• Information Security Qualification (e.g. CISSP, CISA)
• Detailed knowledge of at least one operating system (prefer Windows and/or Linux)
• Experience in the operation of a large ArcSight Event Management System
• Experience in the development of ArcSight Content
• Experience in the configuration and management of ArcSight Appliances and flexconnectors
• Detailed knowledge of firewalls and networking devices
• Experience with enterprise anti-virus products
• Experience with Intrusion Prevention/Detection technologies
• Experience with authentication technologies such as Active Directory and two-factor authentication.
• Knowledge of VPN technologies such as SSL-VPN and IPSEC
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to openly share/discuss ideas and suggestions with team members
• Ability to explore and investigate new products and solutions
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• High ethical standard

Travel Description: There maybe some travel for the beta deployments of Arcsight in the shipboard environment.

Required skills/competencies: • Strong AS400 and iSeries programmer skills with recent RPG experience
• Must be familiar with several versions of RPG such as RPG III, RPG IV, RPG ILE, and RPG Free
• Excellent problem solving and trouble-shooting skills
• Able to translate complex business requirements into working software applications
• Able to work in a team environment
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Willing to follow department processes and procedures
Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with Hawkeye, SQL, Turnover, MQ Series, JWalk, LegaSuite, CTI, or Clarity a plus
• Experience with large systems and companies preferred.
• Local candidates preferred.

Candidate must be available to work full-time (M-F 8hrs/day) in Miramar, Florida. At the same time, candidate must be flexible to work extra hours as needed. This position requires duty phone shifts and on-call support some evenings and weekends (as needed) and one Sunday morning per month for deployment.
