After 24 years of service, www.simplesystems.org is temporarily down. My Internet service provider (AT&T) included an obscure line in its monthly paper bill saying that the "service is no longer supported" and now a few weeks later, network infrastrastructure is no longer working properly and apparently not being repaired any more. I must assume that it will not be repaired.
This is relevant to the libtiff project because one of the libtiff home pages has been hosted at www.simplesystems.org for quite a long time. The remaining working home page is at https://libtiff.gitlab.io/libtiff/. I will be building a new cloud server to replace lost services but this will take some time given the need to update DNS records and to configure the new server. Bob
