Public bug reported:

The spinning dots shown when tapping on a video give the impression
something is happening when in fact a further user action (another tap)
is being waited on.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Gallery app
2. Tap on a video under Events

Expected:
3. The video starts playing

Actual:
3. A black screen with a translucent play icon and the spinning dots animation
is shown
4. Wait
5. Nothing happens
6. Tap the screen
7. Mediaplayer is open and the video is played
