I don't think it's between Turbine and WebMacro because no one that I
know of is complaing about speed.
I don't know all the particulars on you setup, but i use
Turbine/WebMacro on JServ in a production environment with Secure
checks and it's extremely fast
Besides the WebMacro template caching, Turbine can optionally cache
the look ups for Screens/Templates ( see TurbineResources ). But even
w/o this enabled, responses times are fast.
Are you using the latest version of Turbine?
