The file is from: http://www.apdrp.ro/content.aspx?item=1694&lang=ro and was changed with an updated version. I can't replicate the problem anymore. I think that the crash had something to do with the fact that evince cannot read that pdf and so it cannot generate the thumbnails on the desktop when downloaded.
