Binary package hint: ubiquity
First of all sorry for choosing the German name of the applet, I would
be delighted if someone could tell me how to find out the English name
of an applet: an...@pussep.de
Now about the bug: Changing the Governor through this applet (which
displays the CPU frequency) has no effect. When clicking on a governor
the menu disappears as if it succeeded, but when calling the menu again
there is still "Ondemand" selected.
System info: Ubuntu 9.04 amd64 Alpha 5. Latest updates installed on the
4th of March 2009 (Europe/Berlin time). Hardware: CPU: AMD 6000+ dual
core (AM2 socket); Chipset: NVidia nForce 570 SLI; Main memory: 2 GB;
Graphics card: GigaByte GeForce 7600 GS.
