I can confirm that CTRL+V pasting fails randomly in Xubuntu Thunar since
Karmic. Usually, at the start of the session everything works fine, but
after some time it stops working forever. Pasting with the contextual
menu works always perfect, and I confirmed that the paths that have been
copied to the clipboard are valid. CTRL+V works always correctly in
other applications.

This bug can be quite dangerous for the user, because this process fails
silently. It can lead to data loss, in a workflow that includes copy-
paste & delete-original-file.
