Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon

Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx

I can use mouse setting to get the ctrl button to local mouse cursor,
but it is not visible until the the command "sudo lshw -c display" is
ran. this temporary though. It has to been ran even login, user switch,
etc. Basically every time a user desktop loads  the cursor is not
visible, and the above command has to be run to make is visible.
