Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon
Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx I can use mouse setting to get the ctrl button to local mouse cursor, but it is not visible until the the command "sudo lshw -c display" is ran. this temporary though. It has to been ran even login, user switch, etc. Basically every time a user desktop loads the cursor is not visible, and the above command has to be run to make is visible.
