So, why don’t we promote some other free & open projects there that are useful and not related to Ubuntu? I’ve been gathering some of them at http://jancborchardt.wordpress.com/links/
http://identi.ca http://joindiaspora.com (once it’s running) http://openetherpad.com http://libre.fm http://sparkleshare.org http://wikipedia.org http://openstreetmap.org http://dict.cc http://p2pu.org http://flossmanuals.net http://oercommons.org http://openfontlibrary.org And maybe also some non-digital: http://couchsurfing.org http://freecycle.org When they already have Ubuntu, we should help them dive deeper into free culture. I know it took long for me to get to know all these massively useful sites. On the current bookmarks: Why ubuntulinux.org and not just call it ubuntu.com like it is everywhere else? I’m not entirely sure on Debian. If that is there, GNOME should be too. On the other hand, it is not useful for most. -- Maverick: The defaut livecd and installed firefox bookmarks could do with updating. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/602265 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
