I found I get sound out the speaker by enabling other things in alsamixer. I enabled several things at once. I should really go back and find out just what it was that actually made a difference. Right now, I just unmuted and cranked up the dbgain in: master mono, line, line jack, mic (yes, I know has nothing to do with output) and mic boost, phone (just unmuted, but didn't crank up the gain), unmuted phone, s/pdif, s/pdif playback AC97-spsa, and aux. Pretty much unmuted and cracked what ever I could.
Not sure if I need to save it alsctl, but I think I went over board turning everything on. Speakers tested out OK though. -- No sound from speakers, but works with head phone - Meekrat https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/675122 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
