Binary package hint: debian-installer

The installer of ubuntu 10.10 crashes in final step. I believe that i
doing wrong option to bootloader disk place.I m trying now to re-install
bat i'm not shure who disk to pick. I have 2 hard disks. On first boot
the windowsXP and  the other is sharing in 2 partition one for windows
files and on second partition i have left space for ubuntu instalation.
I pick the first disk when is and the windows installed. Where is the
right place for bootloader?
