network-manager 0.8.9997+git.20110721t045648.36db194... network-manager-gnome 0.8.9997+git.20110726t113022.cc3d423 nm-applet blongs to network-manager-gnome which seems to be represented on launchpad by network-manager-applet I expect to click on the network-manager applet and have a selection of wired and wireless networks to connect to. Instead both left and right click result in a menu consisting of: (check) Enable Networking (check) Enable Wireless (grayed out) Connection Information Edit Connections...
