Public bug reported:

Nautilus is using 100% CPU usage and locks up my machine. I eventually
have to shut down my laptop manually after 5 minutes because it does not
recover.

It does this on all Unity, Unity 2D, and Gnome-shell.

I am using Ubuntu 11.10.
