Public bug reported: When in LibreOffice Writer, text selection with the mouse will sometimes work, sometimes not and is generally unreliable.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a Writer document in OpenOffice, 2. Press the left mouse on a piece of text and keep pressed, 3. Start dragging the mouse to select a piece of text. Expected behaviour: The selected text is highlighted until you release the mouse button. Actual behaviour: More often than not, the text will stop being highlighted sometime during the drag, often when the drag goes over a word boundary but not always.
