Public bug reported:

The problem is really weird. When it happens, the icon which indicates
the wireless internet connection on the tray will be glowing, and a
dialog box prompts and tells me I need password to join a wireless
network. Even though I make sure that the password is correct, the
dialog box will disappear for approximately 20 seconds and pop up again
and tells me to enter the password without telling me whether the
password I entered previously was correct or not. BUT, if I boot my
system using Linux version 3.2.0-29 this problem will never be happened.

I am using Ubuntu 12.04 on a Lenovo ThinkPad T61 with a CPU of Intel
T8300 dual core @ 2.40 GHz.
