Same problem here with a Dell Latitude E6430. Has two video boards (Intel and Nvidia) - Nvidia Optimus. Only using Nvidia though with nouveau driver. Also here with 3.2.0-39 everything is perfect. Also this seems to be a duplicate of but # 1161227
