Public bug reported:
This resulted in no nvidea display hardware being detected and used for
xwindows
in order to get nvidia-glx-new driver working I had to base the modified
xorg.conf off
one from a desktop machine I had to remove a module and add some parameters
to the driver section
I'll attach lspci output from this machine
(you couldnt get a more nvidia machine!)
just notice I should have asked my dad to run it with sudo ask if you
need the extra info
