To kill and start nm-applet after resume does work. The error message
after resume, when the arrow (ethernet) symbol is shown, is the
following:

(nm-applet:6460): nm-applet-CRITICAL **: get_menu_item_for_ap: assertion
'dup_data.hash != NULL' failed
