** Description changed: I recently enabled the option in the gnome-tweak-tool called "Show location of cursor" so now when I press CTRL I get a nice animation coming from my cursor. However if I have any text selected when I press CTRL, until I have released the button, the text appears as normal and appears to be deselected though I believe it is not, if it is, then it just reselect when I release the button. And this becomes rather distracting when trying to copy text as it disappears when you press CTRL...
