17.04 did not have any problems, I never had 16.04 on this computer. An update to the kernel yesterday seems to have resolved this issue (linux-image-4.13.0-31). So it's not worth investigating further at this point in time.
However, the kernel update seems to have introduced a full system freeze that occurs less often than the original problem, but this is another matter. I think I'll just run 17.04 until 18.04 comes out. I'm not sure if this should be marked invalid or fixed, so I'll leave that to someone else. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1744511 Title: Keyboard and mouse stop working randomly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1744511/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
