Public bug reported: The plugin package in the repository (as of this writing) is not the most current version. When installed as part of a gkrellm installation, the plugin section of gkrellm fails to load gkrellm-leds because xtst is not available. This comes from libxtst-dev. Specifically, gkrellm-leds needs to use XTestFakeKeyEvent in order to run correctly.
This is the error I got: Error: /usr/lib/gkrellm2/plugins/gkleds.so: undefined symbol: > > >XTestFakeKeyEvent By using Synaptic I was able to download and install the libxtst-dev library. Since I have manually made the required change to my system, I don't know what help I can be in the future, but feel free to ask for more info.
