Public bug reported: On Ubuntu 20.04, a search delay of about one second was introduced (regression compared to Ubuntu 19.10). v2.4.4 of xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin fixes this, in particular this commit: https://git.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin/commit/?h=v2.4.4&id=4436c526050c4234734577f266ab79e44987b7d0 I verified this by manually applying the linked patch. There don't seem to be any changes in 2.4.3 -> 2.4.4 other than this fix and translation updates, so it seems safe to update.
