Public bug reported: I was just hunting a bug and noticed, that a Lubuntu 20.04 system installed with the Lubuntu 20.04 image does not have /bin and /sbin directories. Both are just symlinks to /usr/bin and /usr/sbin.
I don't think this conforms to common Linux standards. I recently had the problem that the Lubuntu installer creates /tmp as a ramdisk, which definitely is not allowed and breaks functionality. The Lubuntu installer causes severel problems and seems to be written by someone mostly ignorant of Linux file system standards. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1898302 Title: Lubuntu makes /bin and /sbin symlinks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1898302/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
