Public bug reported:

MAAS server when commissioning the node will not open the blade chassis
URL which is in https, it throws SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED error.

Blade node will be commissioned only after changing the chassis URL from
https to http mode.

What you expected to happen?
Blade node should be commissioned for URL for XML API with https mode.

What actually happened?
Blade node commissioning failed with the error 'Failed to query node's BMC -
<urlopen error <urlopen error [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate
verify failed: self-signed certificate (_ssl.c:997)>>'

If possible, a minimal series of steps necessary to make it happen, where step
1 is "start the program"
- Configured blade node with MAAS vLAN and rebooted with PXE boot.
- Node is discovered/listed under MAAS machines page.
- In the power configuration, selected the
Power Type - Cisco UCS Manager.
Server UUID - Server's Unique Identifier ID
URL for XML API - https://10.1.1.1/
  API user - admin
  API password - 12345

Please find the error screenshots.
