I have had this problem for a long time, in different ubuntu versions, but this is the first time (Ubuntu 11.04) that I am unable to find a workaround.
Before, I used to create a script that would umount the network drives and place it at /etc/network/if-down.d. It used to work for Ubuntu 10.10, but now it doesn't anymore. I don't think it's going to be solved anytime soon, so, any solution/workaround? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/211631 Title: Network is brought down before network filesystems are unmounted (CIFS timeout at shutdown) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/network-manager/+bug/211631/+subscriptions -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
