hi Andrew, Thanks for the reply, I tried to tune the memory, changed it as low as possible, no luck.
My guess is that this issue is related to what is discussed here http://apache-spark-user-list.1001560.n3.nabble.com/Initial-job-has-not-accepted-any-resources-td11668.html that is the executors cannot connect back to the driver (in my case I am not sure if they are even started).
