Hello all, My name's Ben Crowder and I've just joined your ranks as a videoblogger. About me: I'm an English major at Brigham Young University, planning to go on to get a masters in library science. I'm a programmer by trade but also have visions of grandeur of being a great [fill in the blank -- writer, artist, musician, linguist, etc.]. I used to use Windows, then switched to Linux for six or seven years, and about a year ago I converted to Mac and I'm never going back. Oh, and I'm a Mormon.
I've been blogging for eight or nine months now and discovered videoblogs a few weeks ago, and I've got to say that vlogging is one of the coolest things I've seen in a long, long time. :) It has an incredible potential and I'm excited to see how it'll develop over the next few years. Anyway, my vlog is called Top of the Mountains and I posted my first video yesterday. Subjectwise, anything goes, but I suspect recurring topics will include books (I'm a diehard bookworm), tech stuff (Macs, programming, cool Internet stuff, whatever), and being a Mormon. I look forward to getting to know you (you meaning those who I actually do get to know, since I doubt I'll get to know all 1600+ of you :)) and spreading the word about videoblogging.
