Okay... let's count the things I have to worry about as a blogger:

- saying something that will piss off some religious nut (pick your flavor -
I despise them all) and cause someone to call for my death

- saying something or allowing something to be said on my blog which could
lead to lawsuits for libel, slander, etc.

- saying something that will later be raked up and used against me should I
ever decide to run for public office (whoops - blew that one ages ago)

- appearing to have video or anything else that someone in authority thinks
might possibly provide evidence of crimes they're not even sure occurred,
but would surely like to know about if they did

- in Italy, saying something that could be construed as an offense against
any religion (see http://www.beginningwithi.com/italy/living/opinion.html )

Uh, what were we saying about new media and the Internet giving us all
freedom to express ourselves...?
