However, you could use twitterfeed to subscribe to the RSS feed of your Google Calendar. (Hmm, maybe I'll have to try that)

You can set it to send txt reminders an hour before meetings, or any amount of time you want. It also sends a daily agenda with everything you have going on that day. I love it and use it daily. Pretty sure Twitter doesn't do this (yet).
