Way, way back when CompuServe still mattered, I hung out there providing a company presence in a couple of technical forums. Once a guy invited me for a private chat, I assumed because he had a technical question. Then he immediately wrote "I can suck my own cock." I was so startled I simply dumped out of the chat, but in retrospect wish I had said: "You must be fun at parties" or something similarly ironic.
I haven't been harassed much; the fact that my site isn't really constructed to encourage comment conversations is probably a factor.
