Here's an article about the Bush Administration's continued opposition to a bill to shield reporters from federal efforts to force them to reveal their sources. The sponsors revised several items to attempt to make it more palatable, but so far, no go.

Anyone who does not want to cooperate with prosecutors could post information on the Internet and claim to be covered by the media shield, she said." Does this include videoblogging? If you put a video on YouTube are you officially a journalist in the eyes of the law? Or are you exempt from official "journalist" status if you're videos feature dancing/sleeping animals?
