I just came across a WordPress plugin that allows users to add video/audio comments to your vlog that stay as part of your normal comments. http://www.riffly.com
They have a live demo there you can try. Some downsides, you need to use your mic/webcam attached to your computer and it may only work with Firefox and PCs... although I've not tested it myself.
