Hello everybody,
When setting up my iPad as a brand new one, one thing I wanted to make
sure was that my contacts and text messages would come up on both
devices. They come up on my watch just fine.
My messages are not coming through on the iPad yet.
I went to iCloud, made sure that messages was turned on when being
backed up. I went to Settings for the Messages app, and I made sure
that iMessages was turned on and that Message Forwarding was turned on
as well.
Then, when setting up my iPad, I set it up manually, but I got many of
my apps and such from an iPhone backup from iCloud.
I have several text message threads on my iPhone, but none of them are
on the iPad, except for one iMessage which I deleted.
Am I forgetting anything important? I did the research and work but I
guess I didn't get something right.
Tom
