Jack Phoenix <j...@countervandalism.net> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |j...@countervandalism.net --- Comment #4 from Jack Phoenix <j...@countervandalism.net> 2011-07-12 14:57:00 UTC --- As the developer of WikiForum ([[mw:Extension:WikiForum]], which is a fork of the original WikiForum, with some security patches and such tweaks), I beg to disagree with the comment "LQT would be better", although I admit that I'm not a hardcore user of LQT. Extension wars aside, while it would be fun to see WikiForum deployed on a Wikimedia site and I'd absolutely love if someone could review it and fix the obvious and non-obvious flaws...I just don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon. WikiForum has bugs, quirks and other things (such as the crappy pagination code, for example) that I believe should be fixed before one could even consider the idea of deploying WF on the Wikimedia cluster. So, yes, it can be done, but it requires a lot of time and a lot of work. Is it worth it? I don't know, that's up to someone else to decide. All I know is that I currently don't have the time to bugfix WikiForum. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
