That's an excellent point, Donnie, thanks for raising it.
I hadn't meant to drop the xorg mailing list from my original reply, but
here's the conclusion we came to in the discussion. The X.org board
agreed to publish the names of nominees in a timely fashion after they
have accepted a nomination by sending in a position statement.
So, the following three nominees have accepted and their names will
appear on the ballot:
Donnie Berkholz <dberkh...@gentoo.org>
Alan Coopersmith <alan.coopersm...@sun.com>
Bart Massey <b...@cs.pdx.edu>
The nomination period is now closed, so no new nominations will be
accepted. But there's still time for people who were already nominated
to accept the nomination by sending a position statement to:
electi...@x.org
In particular, any individuals who nominated themselves need to send in
a position statement before next Monday, (February 9), if they still
want their name to appear on the ballot.
