vm status incorrect if hypervisor is broken
Status in OpenStack Compute (nova):

Bug description:
If a nova-compute service is down (power failure) the instances shown
in nova list are still in active state while nova service-list
reports "down" for the corresponding hypervisor.
nova list should check the hypervisor state and report "unknown /
undefined" for an instances running on a hypervisor where the nova-
compute is "down".
