Same here, horribly want to migrate from the combination Emacs+Evil :D

I'd say that Emacs is the worst implementation of the greatest idea. Yi 
definitely doesn't seem to be as mature in the sense of addons, but still, 
if I'd put as much efforts in it as I put in my Emacs config/debugging back 
then, I'd probably get from it just as good alternative. And the sources, I 
shall say, are much easier to read than Emacs ones.
