neither--heroin got me into the scene. in 1987 i overcame a four year heroin adiction. but even after the withdrawls were over i couldn't sleep at night. so to keep myself entertained and my mind off other matters i went out to dance clubs. they were playing house music and i pretty much swapped one addiction for another. james
