i think this is a very interesting thread, but i think you misunderstood
daniel's original comment. when he said that all you really need is to be
able to count, i suspect he ment that you don't have to have classical music
training in order to be a good DJ (that was what the thread he replied to
was actually about). all you need is intuitive understanding of music. you
can have this without classical training. by "counting" i suspect that
daniel ment "know when to mix in a record". he is a VERY competent DJ by the
way. i seriously doubt that anyone would disagree that it takes more than
just counting to be a good DJ ?!?
