I once saw someone describe him as "Goth-House" which although laughable as a
title, does some justice in describing the very autumnal feel to his music.
He's got a very special ability to create a lot of space in the melodies he
uses. Wonderfully sparse yet absorbing music.

Yeah man, Lawrence is the bomb. Check out the "Eccentric" 12" under his
Sten alias, and "Leaving The Frantic" LP by the same, and the beautiful
"The Night Will Last Forever" LP by Lawrence.

As T says, if anyone accuses you of turning your nose up at most
(so-called) 'minimal' you can cite people like this guy...

Not sure if it would be your thing so much. He runs Dial, if that helps
any.
He's really good live. 'Minimal' without being particularly minimal, and
a
fair amount of good ambience thrown in. His melodies tend to be great. I
only have his Sten remix of Pantha du Prince's 'Butterly Girl', which is
pretty dope. It moves around really well.
