Dear Rounak,
First of all Hearty congrats to you for qualifying as CA.
As others have mentioned, it is very essential for us to be versatile
on computers and good communication skills, irrespective of the
educational qualification we possess. as far as CA is concerned,
there are many areas wherein VI will be able to work with minimal
dependance on others.
I work on US GAAP, which involves compliance issues and my work is to
a great extent on brousing the net, compiling the information and
providing it to top management. there are many areas like this.
Infact MNC's will have lot of opportunities as there is specialisation
which is lacking in pvt firms who are practising CA.
Do let me know as to what exactly you are looking for, and I shall try
to provide whatever info possible from my end.
Let me mention to the list that there is another VI Mr. Jayram, who
has qualified as CA. he must be joining the group in few days.
All the very best Rounak
Regards,
Rajani
