Dear group, As you may know, I've been pursuing the issue of Swiggy's accessibility with screen readers like Talkback. Following a suggestion, I filed a grievance on the CPGRAMS portal. Swiggy responded to the concerned officer by characterizing this as a feature request and forwarding it to their relevant team. Subsequently, the portal closed my case.
Essentially, it appears that no progress has been made. The portal offered an option to file an appeal for such situations. My question is, what are the potential outcomes of filing an appeal? Would I need to go to court or take other legal action? Is it worth pursuing, or will the weaknesses of the RPWD 2016 guidelines prevent any meaningful change? I would appreciate your advice on how to proceed. Sincerely, Saurav Student at Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, Pune -- Disclaimer: 1.
