hi anirud, first, I would like to congratulate you for this. That you have started learning classical music. Its very good. And, acts as a stress reliever for you. And from generations music has been our best friends (as what I think). I have done my graduation in Indian classical music (vocal). From prayag . And, same from lucknow as well. Now, due to some reasons, I was on a break. But, now, I would be giving my PG for the same. now, coming to your notation part. Its not as easy as we think, in this, you have to do one thing. As suggested by mr omkar, Use your laptop to write the notations. But, for comal and shudh swaras, add the respected type after the swara. EG, if I have a bandish in raaga bhairav, So, its notations would be, ga (shudh), maa (shudh), dha (comal) dha (comal). This pattern you have to follow. And, for taals. I would say that, you use, your hands for that, Where there is a khali beet, just, wave your right hand, and for tali, just clapp, a little on your other hand, and for other beets, do it on your palm (the area where you keep prasad or anything). And, as for there deffinations, write them on your laptop. and, now, for your scribe, well asked, The way you have wrote your notations, just, tell your scribe in the same way, Eg, suppoze, you have to write the noatations of raga multani's bandish of its bada khayal. So, you would tell your scribe like this: ne saa gaa (comal) maa (teevra), paa, gaa(comal), re(comal) saa. At start, you may find it difficult to do to dictate your scribe like this. But, you can practice, and it will get smoother, and ferther more, I would sujjest you to practice it with your family members. Just sit down with anyone, tell them to write what you are saying, and, then, send it to your teacher, and, then, she can correct and guide you from there.
if you have any questions please dont hezitate to call me on my phone no: 9990955800. with best regards, Udit.
