Director, NAB DOR The Department of Rehabilitation of National Association for the Blind, India located in the premises of King George V Memorial Infirmary, Mahalaxmi is committed to rehabilitate the adult visually impaired, congenital as well as newly blind in all walks of life, by conducting various courses for them in order to become independent. We conduct the following programmes: Sr. No., Programme , Duration 1. Basic Rehabilitation course, 3 ½ months 2. 6 months certificate course in Acupressure and Massage, 6 months 3. Two years certificate course in Physiotherapy. , 2 years The details of the course are as follows: Sr. No.-Project-Qualification-No. of seats-fees-certificate 1.-Six Months certificate course in Acupressure and Massage-VIIth passed-10-330/- Vocational Board fee.-Maharashtra vocational Board. 2.-Two Years certificate course in physiotherapy -Xth Passed-10-3330/--Maharashtra vocational Board. Scope: On completion of the course Candidates can practice privately as physiotherapists or can join any Hospital/Polyclinical/OPD jobs. Admissions are strictly on merit subject to entrance exam in: 1 English 2 General Knowledge 3 General Science. Entrance exam will be held on Date : - 27th April 2009 Time : - 10.00 a.m. onwards.
