I don’t think we can dismiss it as nobody streams in 4K. Seems like 4K content will be something they compete on, although the current thing seems to be lowball prices which I suspect cannot last forever. Something I wonder about is whether there will be multiple video qualities of UHD, just like HD can go from about 2.5M to about 6M.
