Had to send him to Japan. He was the guy that used the GOTO in a C program. I told him to NEVER use a GOTO. But he did. GOTO in C does not mind the stack. Yeah, that was an awesome fix. Super brilliant folks working on it. I once shipped 2000 units of a product that had a software glitch. Stack overflow after 32 operations. It was OTP ram based MCU. Expensive buggers. I tried so hard to find a bit to burn to change an op code to cause a jump to unused memory to vector around the problem. I totally failed. Send an employee with 2000 chips to change. I am wholly appreciate what they accomplished.
